How To Get To Firefly Park

Are you now interested in going to the Firefly Park? Maybe, you are now questioning how to get there. Well, one of the easiest and most affordable options is by riding a bus. You could go to the station in Puduraya and buy a ticket going to Kuala Selangor. Upon reaching Kuala Selangor, you will have to take another bus ride that will bring you near the Firefly Park. Another option is to ride a taxi which you could choose either to be a regular one or a premier type. The price of a regular taxi ride to Kuala Selangor would be around RM 50. Take note that you have to make a reservation in the village because buses would be hard to find at night. But if you are riding a taxi, then you could negotiate a special arrangement which will allow you to go back to your hotel during the same night.

For us, the best option is by driving to the place using a rental car. Our experience during our firefly tour involved a car rented from Hawk Malaysia. The fee was a lot more expensive and costs RM 150 for 24 hours. During the next day, we rented a vehicle from which is cheaper at only RPM 120 for 24 hours. The road going to the tourist destination was smooth. We passed through the Kuala Selangor Expressway to prevent traffic and unnecessary stops. We reached the Firefly Park in only 40 minutes. If you are desiring of exploring another route, you could pass through the Jalan Kuching where you will be going through a bridge connecting Kuala Selangor and Pasir Penambang. Again, traveling during nighttime is definitely not advisable because some towns in Malaysia still remain to have scant lighting.

The Tour Of Firefly Park

You can spot the fireflies every single night for as long as the weather permits. The Firefly Park Resort is your go-to place for such an exquisite travel experience. The company offers the Bukit Belimbing tour which is priced at around RM 15 per pax. It covers the boat ride that lasts about 45 minutes. You have to remember that fireflies thrive in dark place. It is definitely prohibited to take out mobile phones and cameras because it could destroy the natural way of life of fireflies. Going to the tour is very easy most especially when coming from the Kuala Lumpur City Center. You will only have to travel by car that will last about 40 minutes.

I could say that the firefly tour was a life-changing experience. It made us appreciate that there is still precious life waiting to be discovered in the dark. It made us love nature even further. The great number of fireflies in every tree along the river was just supremely fascinating and the sight of the creatures made our spirits so high with gratitude. Darker evenings with the absence of stars and the moonlight would surely present a more picturesque view.
